LGL Troops can melt through enemy defenses. Laser-guided lightning uses a laser to create a channel of plasma in the air conducive to high voltage electrical currents.
The more LGL troops focusing their attack on a single target, the greater their individual attacks are multiplied, converging into a single stream of fire. Priority targets when using LGL are Railguns and THEL Lasers. LGL troops pair well with a swarm of rangers, stealth tanks or striker VIs. The main benefit to using LGL as opposed to rangers is their HP levels when faced with mines. LGL troops must be balanced with rangers or other troops due to their vulnerability to Railguns, sentry and THEL defenses.
