These are buildings that you can build and staff that will allow you to protect certain parts of your island from invasion—giving you a last ditch defense when the enemy attacks, as well as allowing you to separate out parts of your island so that some areas are open to be attacked, but other areas remain safe. Players can attack an area which is covered by a Defense Tower, but as soon as the attack is complete, the Defense Tower automatically repels it without the attacked player having to take any action.
